Brooke holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Business (Human Resources) from the University of Technology, Sydney. Brooke commenced work with VRT Lawyers in 2019, as a Paralegal, before admission to practice as a Solicitor in 2020, and has since developed a specialised focus in Family Law and Employment Law

Prior to joining VRT Lawyers, Brooke worked as a Legal Researcher at Elizabeth Street Chambers, gaining invaluable research skills working on complex cases involving medical negligence, institutional child sexual abuse, and personal injury, and a Paralegal at Turner Freeman Lawyers, working in the medical negligence. Outside of law, Brooke served as a Human Resource Co-Ordinator at Equalation, a leading nutrition and body transformation company. This role further enhanced her understanding of employment law from a corporate perspective, enabling her to offer practical, informed advice to both businesses and individuals.

At VRT Lawyers, Brooke applies her extensive legal knowledge, empathetic approach, and sharp problem-solving skills to support her clients through complex family and employment matters. Brooke is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients, demonstrating a blend of compassion, dedication, and legal excellence.

Outside of law, Brooke is a foodie and enjoys Pilates, reading books, going for walks.

Admitted as a solicitor since August 2020, Brooke has rapidly distinguished herself in the legal field, combining her profound knowledge of law with her passion for human resources and employee rights.

Before her admission, Brooke embarked on her legal journey at our firm as a paralegal in 2019, where she has since developed a specialized focus in Family and Employment Law. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resources from the University of Technology Sydney, equipping her with a unique blend of legal insight and human resources expertise.

Brooke's legal career is marked by a diverse range of experiences that underscore her versatility and depth of knowledge. She honed her research skills and legal acumen as a legal researcher for three years at Elizabeth Street Chambers, focusing on complex cases involving medical negligence, institutional child sexual abuse, and personal injury. This experience provided her with a solid foundation in navigating intricate legal issues and advocating for victims' rights.

Her commitment to justice and legal excellence continued as she joined Turner Freeman Lawyers. There, she played a pivotal role as a paralegal in a high-profile class action against The Cosmetic Institute, showcasing her ability to manage significant legal challenges and contribute to impactful legal outcomes.

Transitioning from law to human resources, Brooke served as a Human Resource Consultant at Equalation, a leading nutrition and body transformation company. This role further enhanced her understanding of employment law from a corporate perspective, enabling her to offer practical, informed advice to both businesses and individuals.
